Hey y'all,

Olive-sided flycatchers are a bird I just don't run into all that often, relative to other flycatchers, but I've had them at Lake Fenwick down in Federal Way (or Auburn, or Kent...not sure) last year, and then again today.

Very good day in South King County today. Started at Kent Ponds, where I flushed an American Bittern early on the trail at the southeastern end. Found some Lazuli Buntings and Willow Flycatchers on that end, and had Cinnamon Teal and Wood Duck fly by at different times.

At Fenwick, in addition to the Olive-sided flycatchers, I had Black Throated Gray Warbler, Wilson's Warbler, Wood Duck (always there), Red-Breasted Sapsucker and Western Tanager.

Finished at Dash Point where I had a pair of Marbled Murrellets...murrelets..murel..alcids, and a kingfisher diving wildly at the water.
