Hi,Tweets! I'm still wound up from enjoying the WOS Conference in
Wenatchee. It was superb!!! Six birds were added to the county list for
the year: Black-crowned Night-heron, Willow Flycatcher, Red-eyed
Vireo,Townsend's Warbler, Harlequin Duck and Clay-colored Sparrow.

And, about 30 min. ago I had a Hermit Warbler in MY yard!!! It had an all
bright yellow head, with just a little bit of pale black on the back of
the crown. The small, black beady eye really stood out. Vivid, black
throat, and all white body. The back was grayish, with 2 white wing bars,
the higher one being wider than the other. I played the song of both it
and a Townsend's and it matched the Hermit, as the Townsend's was too
fast. It flew from the evergreens to our crab apple tree, where it really
stood out, than went into a neighbor's yard. I followed. It had quit
singing, but I relocated it within 5 ft. of me on a bench near their fish
pond, that has a small waterfall. No camera with me!! Meredith Spencer,
