Penny Koyama and I birded along the Teanaway River yesterday, in cold
and windy weather. We saw Black Swifts in two different spots, 3-4 on
the Middle Fork Teanaway Rd and 2 at 29 Pines Campground. This seems to
be a dependable area to find this species. I have seen them at the
campground and on the North Fork Teanaway Rd five times before this, in
June and July of 2005 and 2006.
