Hello Tweeters.

Around 4:20 this afternoon, I was walking up the East Meadow trail, when, about 50 yards from its southern connection to the mail trail, I saw a robin-sized brown bird with a long reddish tail fly in from the west into the thicket of willows and other trees and bushes that border the trail. This was not far from where this thicket peters out from being near the trail as it winds northward. A moment later I had a good frontal view of the Ash-throated Flycatcher, from the belly up. It soon turned and disappeared further back into the thicket. I hung around this spot for another 20 minutes, but did not see it again.

Good birding,
