Tweeters,

As of 1pm, the Black-and-White Warbler continued to call and be visible from the previously described location along Corkindale Creek, just southwest of Marblemount in Skagit Co. The BWWA was approx. 1/2 mile north of the highway, 100 yards past a metal fence post with blue ribbon tied to the top of it. The weather was miserable all day, rain, drizzle, fog and clouds. I looked for the Am. Redstarts just northeast of Marblemount without success.

Other highlights in the Marblemount area were 1 Common Nighthawk, several Lazuli Buntings and Western Tanagers. I drove all the way up to Cascade Pass trailhead, 22 miles east of Marblemount near the Chelan Co. line, however it was a mostly fruitless trip as I was unable to locate but a scant few species, mostly due to the weather I believe. I only found 44 species for the afternoon.
