Geri Walker and I dipped on the Black and White Warbler at Corkindale Creek early this morning, but on the way back down highway 20 (early to mid-afternoon) we took a second try at the warbler and although we missed it again we had a gorgeous adult Green Tailed Towhee hopping down the car tracks in nearly exactly the same location where the Black and White Warbler has recently been seen. We walked along behind it for quite some time until it flew off through the trees over the creek. Gorgeous!

There were also numerous Lazuli Buntings, and an Eastern and a Western Kingbird along this road.
