I thought there was but one lonely Eurasian Collared Dove in my neighborhood
north of Olympia. When I saw it gathering sticks on the ground and flying to
an ornamental fir about 10 feet from a home, I thought there must be a pair
present. Today I saw both of them, perched side-by-side in the top of a
birch tree, not far from the apparent nest tree.
