Hello Tweets,

It's embarrassing to be reporting fewer than zillions of new-to-me species this past week, but since my primary purpose in being here isn't birding (unfortunately - though I am very much enjoying learning Spanish), I have to take my sightings where I can get them! Since 6/21/10:

Rufous-tailed Hummingbird
Streaked Saltator
Spot-bellied Woodpecker
Blue-crowned Motmot (whee - a particularly exciting one for me!)
Tropical Kingbird
Black Vulture
Black-and-chestnut Eagle (?)
"?guila," said the farmer whom I was with (eagle) - just got a quick glimpse and no photo but in my mind's eye it was smallish, multi-toned underneath, rounded wings. Candidates found in this general area would include Ornate Hawk-Eagle (though this bird seemed smaller), Black-and-Chestnut Eagle.
Short-eared Owl (heard only)

I've also established a set of mystery birds that I can't decisively associate with a picture in Hilty and Brown's "Birds of Colombia," whether because of the bird's particular lighting or my own mis-reading of the pictures: www.flickr.com/photos/trileigh/sets/72157624253542209/. Would very much appreciate any ID help! (And thanks to Jim Danzenbaker for his parrot assistance.)
