I've been seeing Eurasian collared Doves regularly on San Juan this year as
well; there is a group of 6 or 7 at Cattle Point most mornings (since May)
and I know some Lopezians have been finding them for the first time this
year as well on their outings.

This afternoon I saw a Eurasian collared dove on Bailer Hill Road on San
Juan Island. I don't believe this is a county record, but the reference I
have says there are fewer than five reports of this species in the county so
I thought it was worth reporting. I've certainly never seen it here before!
Does anyone else have more information about the status of this species in
the islands?
