WESTERN SCRUB JAY was seen today (Tue, June 29) at about 10:30am, in
the round-about tree - E John Street & 29th Ave E, Seattle.

Yesterday morning (Mon the 28th), 6:30-7:00, a male LAZULI BUNTING was
very active at the north end of East Meadow in Marymoor. It was
singing away, and some of the time was chased away by Savannah
Sparrows but kept coming back. It hung around the small patch of newly
planted trees and shrubs and the nearby black-berries, until finally
disappeared over the compost piles.
A WILLOW FLYCATCHER was vocally stationed the whole time on a
black-berry branch nearby (4 more were heard & seen other places).
Other highlights: a male RING-NECKED PHEASANT was also visible the
whole time on a wood-chip pile, near the trail along the dog meadow
fence.
PURPLE MARTINS (3) were on the gourds in the lake.
The LEAST FLYCATCHER was heard and seen at the spot reported
earlier(dog central).
