We have changed our bird feeding habits because of our local cats. We have
two trays of sunflower seeds on the back porch and they are popular with the
Black-headed Grosbeaks, Evening Grosbeaks and others. Tonight while eating
with out friends the Watkins and the Hopkins my wife Jo called out from the
kitchen, "There's a Rose-breasted Grosbeak". And there he was sitting on the
tray for several minutes but white Doug and Bill were getting there cameras
he flew off and has not come back. We will let you if he returns and will
make sure the sunflower seeds do not run out. Jo says our marriage is good
for another ten years.
