Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday July 1. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

The fall shorebird migration is now under way along with CALIFORNIA and
RING-BILLED GULLS.

On June 29 a male BOBOLINK was near Cape Blanco. A MOCKINGBIRD was at nearby
New River June 27. On June 28 two EASTERN KINGBIRDS were at Ridgefield NWR.
A GRAY FLYCATCHER was seen June 27 on Larch Mountain east of Portland. A
BLACK PHOEBE was at the Tualatin NWR June 27.

On June 27 a CASPIAN TERN was at Hatfield Lake near Bend. On June 19 three
COMMON GOLDENEYES, a bright WESTERN SANDPIPER, and a FRANKLIN?S GULL were at
Summer Lake.
