Hi Tweeters,

My husband, Bob and I were at Duck Pond in the Arboretum this past
Sunday - saw many Wood Ducks; and as we witnessed last year, there
was a Hooded Merganser hanging around with some Wood Ducks, sometimes
even displaying. Only once did I note a male Wood Duck chasing off
the Merganser. We also so a number of Wood Ducks near SR 520,
viewing from the boardwalk to Marsh Island. From there we also saw
some Scaup - looked like Lesser, but not sure.
