Hi all and especially Karen....to visit Ocean Shores STP & North
Jetty...from the I-5 corridor, take I-5 to Olympia and head west on Hwy 101
then Hwy 8...follow the signs to Aberdeen or the beaches. You will be on
surface streets when you get to Aberdeen...follow the Ocean Shores signs
through Aberdeen, then Hoquiam and you will be on Hwy 109 west of Hoquiam
for about 16 miles.

Watch for a left onto Hwy 115/Ocean Shores at MP 16, then 2 miles south to
the gates of Ocean Shores. Left through the gates...that is Point Brown Ave,
then right at the first street...that is Ocean Shores Blvd. It curves around
and heads south. North Jetty is about 6 miles, with a large parking lot. The
STP is past the jetty parking area on that same road...Ocean Shores Blvd .
You will see a huge, four-story condo complex on the left...the entrance to
the STP is on the right across from this complex. Go through the gates
(weekdays only) and park outside the visitor center/office up the rise and
on the right. Viewing is limited to the pond on the right and the first two
ponds on the left. The guys at the plant are used to birders so feel free to
go inside and ask if you have any questions.
