After reading about a sighting of a thousand waterfowl at Semiahmoo on the Whatcom County birder website, we went up to see what was happening.

There were several hundred Bran t in Drayton Harbor, loons ?and about ten harlequin duck. Of course, the resident eagle was on hand.
