Dear Tweets;

This week I noticed that a group of 6 or 7 crows perched in various
tree top locations across approx. 2 acres. The crows would call to
each other using three caws each and in turn each would respond with
three caws. Once, a crow called six or seven caws in quick succession
where all seven simultaneously flew away from the direction of an
approaching helicopter. We have had quite a bit of heli traffic in the
past month.

For the past two afternoons an Eagle has been circling at tree top
level. The sunshine overhead makes his tail feathers glow
translucently.

I have had an increased number of crows here and a decreased number of
Junco's at the feeders. The new mulch has provided a few resident
birds a treat or two.

At dusk yesterday a group of three Canada Geese flew in the direction
of the pond at tree top level.
