We saw the tufted duck today at Drano Lake near the east end, close to the tunnel at about 2:30 this afternoon. He and a small flock of scaup were moved by a bald eagle who was diving at them. There were also a number of Barrow's golden eyes still there. He, the tufted boy, is a very handsome dude with his tuft proudly blowing in the east wind. John and Loraine Allinger
