For those who are interested I have added several images to my website
spanning the last couple of weeks. I love Semiahmoo in the winter for sea
birds, especially harlequins, long-tailed ducks, scoters, etc. I took a
brief run up to Boundry bay in hopes of finding a gyrfalcon with no luck. I
did find a very cooperative merlin however ( and a very uncooperative farmer
who hates "bird people" and thought he owned the public road in front of his
house). The Skagit area is always good and I finally got some decent images
of the very dark morph red-tailed hawk which has spent at least the past 2
winters there. I found 3 juvenile and 1 adult blue phase snow geese last
weekend and got some close-ups (not processed yet). The "Fill" is almost
always rewarding and I was able to get shovelers moving from the central
pond to the southwest pond. These can all be found in the "last uploads"
