Hi Tweets

Michael called me this morning to let me know the Say's Phoebe was at
Marymoor. At 9:30 it was working over the south end of the Meadow, near the
Eastside Audubon sign about the Meadow. It was working the grass over with
lots of low level fluttering, and an occasional perch on a tall grass stem.
Ten or fifteen minutes later it was at the north end of the Meadow near the
Tree Swallow nesting box, but was beginning to work its way west and south.
If you go looking, you will need to scan the whole Meadow, watching low over
the grass for it.

The Northern Shrike was working the shrubs and trees at the east edge of the
Meadow.

When I was out on Friday, looking for the Townsend's Solitaire (and not
seeing it) I saw a single Violet-green Swallow over the East Meadow.

Good birding,
