Hi, Tweets

Does anyone have an e-mail for Bill Leidner (sp) in Port Gardner?

Birdwise, it's great to wake up to several varied thrushes calling in the yard. They've been very vocal lately.
I've also got four woodpeckers that come to suet regularly outside the window near my computer. The funniest is the pileated who sort of wraps himself around the suet feeder. Bandtails occasionally come to a seed feeder outside the window, but it's usually chickadees, nuthatches, siskins, and Steller's jays. Oh yes, the crows and a couple mallards, too (but not to the window).

Barred owls have been calling for some time now and can be seen in the trees every day or so. Sadly, turkey vultures don't seem to fly over my part of Bothell.

Cheers, Diann
