Tweets,

Spent a pleasant morning at MacDonald Park in Carnation, despite the
hordes of people (baseball, lacrosse and soccer games, golfers, scouts,
mushroom pickers and mountain bikers). Birds of note included
Ring-necked and Wood Ducks, Pileated Woodpecker and Red-breasted
Sapsucker, Red-tailed Hawk and Bald Eagle, Anna's and Rufous (3)
Hummingbirds, plus a booming Ruffed Grouse. And a Common Merganser pair
remains on the river.

Also, a flock of over 300 Cackling Geese were in (and occasionally
above) the fields adjacent to Sikes Lake.
