Hi Tweeters,

I was out working in the Wenas today and heard the first drums and mewing calls of a Red-naped Sapsucker along Wenas Creek adjacent to the campground. Also saw an obliging, but non-tooting, Northern Pygmy Owl perched in a cottonwood over the creek. Also heard a drumming Ruffed Grouse along the creek.
