I led a beginning birding class around Waughop Lake in Steilacoom Park (between Steilacoom and Lakewood, Pierce County).? Noteable were a singing Orange Crowned Warbler and (for me a FOY) Osprey.? Also noted that a lot of the winter ducks have fled the scene.
