Subject: [Tweeters] Rose-breasted Grosbeak

Hi Tweeters,

I had a rainy drive down and sunny drive back from Seattle to
Bonney Lake this morning. I arrived about 8:30 and the grosbeak was at the
feeder. After about 1 minute it flew off. I stood around about a half an
hour in the rain. The rain eased off, sun came out and the grosbeak showed
up again. He must be wondering about his decision to come to Washington and
endure all this rain and cold weather.

Thanks again to Vicki Blitz for inviting us to come and view
"her" rare bird. It was a new state bird for me. Charlotte Byers, Seattle
