Hello again,

I sent the following-mail out early this morning. Apparently it did not get on Tweeters. Here it is again. Please note that I could see all dorsal surfaces except tail.

Hello Community-

I was able to take a short video of Vicki's Rose-breasted Grosbeak on Saturday. After review of dorsal feather colors, I believe it is a Winter adult male in molt. The color patterns are very similar to the Winter adult illustrated on p.437 of the National Geographic Field Guide. Vicki has observed color pattern shifts in the past several days. It would be great if it has full breeding plumage before migrating.

I must say- Vicki must have great Karma-- just think about it--a Rose-breasted Grosbeak hanging out in her back yard!
