Subject: [Tweeters] tufted duck still at drano lake today

today, mar 30th, i saw the old reliable and ever beautiful tufted duck at drano lake (adjacent to hwy 14 at mp 57) from noon to 1 pm. it stayed on the west side of the lake but moved from the sw side to the nw side and back in the course of an hour with its scaup friends.

since there is a road on each side it made for several photographic opportunities as well as some close encounters with large trucks, be careful!

also present were barrows goldeneyes, ring neck ducks, buffelheads, common mergansers,and several different grebes..a lovely collection
