Hi folks...To Darlene for her warm comments, and to all of you who made the
trip out to the festival this year...thank you so much for your continued
support. While we do love the birds, most of continue to help this festival
because of you and your amazement at seeing all those birds massed in one
area. From the families of the local school kids proudly seeing their
child's winning poster on a postcard for the first time to the career birder
making their 34th trip to the refuge, YOU are the reason we do this; it's so
much fun to hear that collective...."ahhhhh" as the shorebirds dance on the
air.
