Just a brief note for fans of the bookshop - on Saturday,May 8, we shall be exhibiting at Spokane Community College for the Garden Expo,2010. The theme is: "Gardening in the Wild,Wild West - Giddy Up Gardener!" We plan to bird our way to and from Spokane and on Saturday, hopefully with borrowed cowboy hat, exhibit gardening, botany and perhaps even a few bird books. Should any WOS members in that lovely region want to stop by and visit, talk birds, even report on the presence of Upland Sandpipers, that would be a lot of fun for me.

Also,I shall not,I believe,attend the June WOS mtg, but am going this Monday for Sage shrub-steppe talk.So if there is anything you would want to look at or want me to bring for you, this would be the last opportunity for a while. Best wishes to all,David
