Hello Tweeters,
On Friday the 30 of April it finally happen that the Plaque in memory of my
Son Patrick Sullivan was dedicated and install on a bench in Bottle
Beach, where Patrick of demand taken many birders out of state birdying.Since
there is a big Sign now on route 105,direct from Acosta third Street.Than it
was kind of hard to find .since it was on a curve and there was no sign. But
local birders had no problem even than to find this Hotspot for Shorebirds
in our State. The number one bird always was the sharp declining RED KNOT.
I like to take the opportunity to thank all the people from the Park
District who worked so hard on this project to make the place a better
place to find and making it more accessible, building the parking area the
Boardwalk and great toilet's and the many benches to rest.
For being instrumental that Patrick got selected to be honored for this
Plaque was the Grays Harbor Audubon and others. The Plaque was donated by Bob
Morse,Who worked tireless on the Christmas Birdcount for Grays Harbor for
many years,
I also like to thank Dennis Paulson who was so kind the write the
inscription for Patrick on this Plaque.
And I like to thank the people who came to the dedication of this Plaque
for Patrick Sullivan.

Cheers Ruth Sullivan
