This morning turned out to be a great day birding in Lewis County. My first stop was at Goodrich Road and the Chehalis River Discovery Trail.
EURASIAN-COLLARED DOVE - 1 on Goodrich Rd. (always seems to be hanging at the first house on the left just past Wagner Rd. when it's around)
RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD - 2
YELLOW WARBLER - 3
ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER - 1
COMMON YELLOWTHROAT - many
LINCOLN'S SPARROW - 1
GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW - 12
WESTERN KINGBIRD - 1 on the wire fence in the farm area to the left as you start down the trail.

Next was Schaefer Park. I hit the payload with warblers, 9 speices. They were in the forested area after you cross the bridge. A short trail circles around.
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER - lots
BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER - several
WILSON'S WARBLER - 1
ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER - 1
COMMON YELLOWTHROAT - several
YELLOW WARBLER - 1
TOWNSEND'S WARBLER - 1
NASHVILLE WARBLER - 1
MacGILLVRAY'S WARBLER - 2

HUTTON'S VIREO - 1
BUSHTIT
BROWN CREEPER
possible Warbling Vireo but did not see the head for sure. Could have been imm. Yellow-rumped.

The ponds along Big Hanaford Rd. seemed quiet though.
GREEN-WINGED TEAL
BUFFLEHEAD
OSPREY
LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER
No other teal were seen this morning. At the second pond, east of the plant, there were
PURPLE MARTINS - 2

After the rain squall. I was able to try Stan Hedwall Park.
Not much going on there, but I did find
HERMIT THRUSH - 1
