Tweets, When I got up this morning I decided to stand on my back deck a
while and see what I might hear. A grosbeak was yelling and a
Chestnut-backed Chickadee pair was busy collecting moss for their nest box.
Then I noticed movement among the cherry leaves that I figured were Purple
Finches which usually pluck the blossoms in silence. I retrieved my
eyeglasses and binocs and discovered not one but at least three NASHVILLE
WARBLERS with a couple Orange-crowned. Tuesday I heard and spotted a
Nashville near Mull Street (associating with a few Wilson's) and Monday had
one nearby with a smallish flock of Yellow-rumps. I love spring migration!
Good birding!
