This afternoon at least 3 Western Kingbirds and 4 Chipping Sparrows were sighted on Barlow Point Road in Longview. The birds were mostly on the dike side of the road. Barlow Point road is at the NW corner of Longview and is accessed from Willow Grove Road. It is a dead end road.

White Crown and Savannah Sparrows were abundant and a couple of Yellow Crown Sparrows were also seen. The large evergreen at the end of the road had 3 Red-Breasted Sapsuckers flying in and out of it. With a little patience one can find five swallow species here also.
