I had a singing Cassin's Vireo yesterday morning at the Elwha River(west side access). It was singing from the Alder forest along the trail to the beach. Warbling Vireos and Hutton's Vireos were singing simultaneously, as well as Wilson's, Yellow-rumped, MacGillivray's and Orange-crowned Warblers. I also had a flyover Green Heron at my old house in West Port Angeles on May 2nd, and my roomate reports that over 50 Vaux's swifts roosted in the chimney of my new abode in Wilkeson, WA.
Good Birding,
