We just had a male Calliope Hummingbird at our feeder in Anacortes. He
returned once, but then was a no-show for the neighboring friends we
called. The CAHU who visited in May 2008 was similar -- two quick feeds
and not seen again -- so I can't suggest trying to see this year's
wanderer here.

Yesterday we had nice close views of a Townsend's Solitaire on the east
shore of Little Cranberry Lake in the Anacortes Community Forest Lands.
