Hi Tweets -
While down in Kent valley this morning, I came across 2 WHIMBREL in
the fields north of 285th, just east off W.Valley Hwy [and just west
of SR 167]

Besides the Whimbrel, the muddy spots of Kent appear to be rapidly
drying out in the recent warm weather . Still some mud along 205th
[off Frager], with the attendant Least Sandpipers, Western
Sandpipers, & American Pipits. Toysmith ponds on the road just south
of 272nd street held a few Long-billed Dowitchers. Further down the
road, I turned south on I-st. and had a Cinammon Teal & and American
Bittern in the marshy area along I St. Emerald Downs still has a
number of waterfowl including a couple Greater White-fronted Geese,
several Cackling Geese, Northern Pintail & Northern Shovellers.
