Tina and I spent the weekend birding in Columbia County. We found a number
of birds that are hard to find in the county:

. Nashville Warbler - Lewis & Clark SP and Payne Hollow Road

. Wilson's Warbler - Lewis & Clark SP

. Yellow-Headed Blackbird - 4 in a tree with a mixed flock of
blackbirds on 261 just east of Starbuck

. Tree Swallow - 2 in Tucannon HMU & 2 on Eckler Mountain Road

. American White Pelican - 3 below Little Goose Dam

. Golden-Crowned Sparrow - 1 with a flock of W-C Sparrow in a yard
on Tucannon Valley Road west of Marengo

. Virginia Rail, Sora, Wilson's Snipe - in a large wet
meadow/pasture on Tucannon Valley Road just east of Marengo.

. Loggerhead Shrike - 1 on Eckler Mountain Road

Enjoy!
