This morning I found a Ruddy Turnstone foraging on the stony beach on the Kilisut Harbor side of the spit near the camping area at Fort Flagler. There were also 14 Black-bellied Plovers, 6 Dunlin, and 6 Sanderlings still around.
I also found a single Purple Martin perched next to two artificial birds on one of the nesting boxes at the sewage treatment ponds.
