Subject: [Tweeters] Blue Wing Teal at Fill

In addition to baby mallards and baby Canada geese
appropriately showing
off on Mother's Day, I had the first for me blue
wings at the Fill
yesterday. First two males on Shoveler's Pond and
then they flew off
and joined two other males at the main pond. Did
not see any females.
In addition to the normal activity there were also
two soaring ospreys
which is the first time I have seen more than a
single one there and
some VERY active and noisy carp spawning at Carp
Pond. It seemed like
there were far fewer ducks around than has
generally been the case with
only a couple of green wings for example.
