This past weekend (May 8 & 9) I visited the Fill in the mornings and played with my (relatively) new camera that
allows me to shoot HD video as well.

The following link will take you to an 8 minute montage. If your equipment can handle it, see it in HD. It includes species like Cinnamon Teal, Red-winged Blackbird, Killdeer. Solitary Sandpiper, Least Sandpiper, Blue-winged Teal, and other common species. On Sunday I "caught" the arrival of 5 Blue-winged Teals; a pair and 3 more males. The pair managed to "shake" the 3 males and they spent the morning moving around the various ponds. Two males stuck together and one ended up trying to court a Cinnamon Teal female (both she and her mate took offense).
