hi all:
the four children are old enough to begin to determine gender. preliminary
call is 2 males and 2 females. preliminary because one of the 'males' seems
to fall between the other three size wise. it could be that one is the last
hatched and a bit behind its sisters. behaviorally it acts more like a male
at this point. the females are generally aggressive and active. the males
are smaller, a bit more reserved and tend to stay out of the way. (i make
no comment on whether such characteristics occur in other species including
non-avians.)
worth a look-see anyhow -- hope we see you all out there.
regards,
t
