Subject: [Tweeters] Just one Varied Thrush in our garden this winter,

I think they were all at my house, Ray. On some days this winter I counted
10 or more Varied Thrushes foraging in the yard at once! In years past we
had far fewer.

As in reports of others, whereas we had four or more Varied Thrushes in our
garden last winter, we seem to have just one showing here this winter so
far. It's a female. But last week I heard a male toot his spring horn
briefly somewhere beyond the fence.
