To cap off a rather active day of birding for me there was both a HAMMOND'S FLYCATCHER giving it's 'Peek!' call in our backyard, and a WESTERN WOOD PEWEE stoically, silently flycatching in the neighbor's yard. Nice to see these two as migration has definitely slowed down to a trickle the last week or so.
