hola paisans:
the four youth are still on the scrape as of 1500 today, 5/27/2010. they
have spread out. two big kids up on the main floor and two more in separate
basement rooms (over the edge of the scrape and down about a foot or so in
amongst the roots. still lots of downy edges to the feathers of all and not
much in the way of activity by any (although i think they can feel photons
or reflections or vibes or something, because they all seem to occasionally
stir and look directly across the river and into the big end of the spotting
scope). my guess is they'll probably spend the holiday at home and fledge
later in the week. that said, one should bear in mind i am undependable and
not the brightest bulb in the chandelier).
