Good rainy morning,

I have had a bad case of the chest crud for 2 weeks plus the weather has not
been very photo friendly for a while. Nonetheless I have managed to get a
few decent images and have put them up on my website

uploads album. There you will find mountain quail, red-winged blackbird,
spotted towhee, and tree swallow from the Kitsap Peninsula and band-tailed
pigeon, black-headed grosbeak and Douglas squirrel from my yard. This is the
first year that I have had regular daily visits from band-tailed pigeons
with as many as 8 at my feeder at one time. I have also had a Coopers hawk
make regular visits and I think it may have nabbed one of the pigeons for I
found several tail feathers on the ground.

All of the pictures from my yard were taken from my upstairs bathroom window
which looks down on my bird feeder and has a great view of a large hemlock
tree near by. That's what you call roughing it to get the shot!
