Since it wasn't raining this morning, I decided to take a walk through my
neighborhood in Battle Ground, Clark County. As soon as I stepped out the
door, I heard an OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER sing from the row of trees 100 yards
from the back deck. Also, a buzz chipping LAZULI BUNTING. During my walk,
I heard at least 5 Lazuli Buntings in the neighborhood - seemingly from
every reasonable patch of habitat. The most I've ever heard in the
neighborhood before was two. Also, the WHITE-BREASTED NUTHATCH from several
days ago is still around.
Did anybody else notice an influx of Lazuli Buntings this morning?
