My husband and I went to check out the Edmonds Marina today. It was
unusually quiet, so we walked over to the fueling dock to see how the
nesting Great Blue Heron was doing. What a prize!! The hatchlings were
visible and I got a couple of neat shots of Mother and Baby. We then walked
back to the little beach area along side the pier and observed what I
believe were two male herons having a dispute as to who's beach it was. If

We did also see a Kingfisher, but those shots didn't turn out so
well.
