A few weeks ago I was driving through North Bend, and watched a pair of
ravens flying together, very close. Suddenly one did a barrel roll around
the other one, rolling over onto its back and then resuming flight as if
nothing had happened. It was a very impressive maneuver. I wondered if it
was some kind of pair-bonding ritual. I have seen other aerial behavior
recently that fits your description, and I wonder how it fits into the
yearly rhythms of raven behavior. If anyone knows, I'd love to hear about
it.

Subject: [Tweeters] Raven Behavior

Hey Tweets,

I saw an unusual raven behavior a couple weeks back and I
was wondering if anyone could help me?

I saw a raven roll onto its side in flight while it was calling.
Has anyone seen or experienced this before?

Thanks in advance,
