Subject: [Tweeters] second update on Nisqually Boardwalk
Date: Nov 4 13:00:51 2010
From: Shep Thorp - tanwaxlake at comcast.net

Hi again,

Email from Jesse Barham, one of the biologists at Nisqually:

At this point it looks like the first section (roughly 1600 feet) to the
McAllister Creek Viewing platform will be open around mid-December. The rest
of the boardwalk will be open on approx February 1 after waterfowl hunting
ends.

Just for clarification hunters will not be allowed to use the boardwalk even
while closed to the public.

There it is!
Good birding,
Shep
