Subject: [Tweeters] Edmonds - Orcas and Ancients

I happened upon Dennis Duffy, Ted Peterson and Evan Houston this
morning at the Edmonds Pier. While there from 8-9:30am, we counted
about 18 Orcas scattered across the Sound on the Kingston side, and at
least 15 Ancient Murrelets (one flock of six and another nine) for the
morning's highlights. Seeing the Ancients suddenly drop (or is it
dissolve?) into the water from a tight-flying flock is really
indescribably cool.
