Hello, While driving home this early afternoon, I happened to be passing the north end of Capitol lake as forty or so swans lifted from the water and flew off to the south. My impression was that they were TUNDRA SWANS. Upon arriving home I noticed a White-throated Sparrow in the yard, the first I've seen this season (we usually get from 1-3) and there was a yard bird first BARRED OWL in the cottonwoods and alders out back.
